Transformer 3 - Dark of the Moon

So, as i am NOT supposed to touch computer now, but i really am tired of doing chemistry, hell the fact is i am having holidays but i am still brainstorming my mind with chemistry just for the sake of my tuition students, argh, i guess teacher simply equivalent to no holidays. duh~ Nevertheless, its the path i chose, gotta just endure it, :) (don't get me wrong, i do like teaching and tutoring, :P)

So, i finally got my eyes on T3! Yay~ I watched it on last week Wednesday, precisely a week after the official release. People asked me, why watch it such late? Because i don't like to watch with so many people that you just feel like you are suffocating of excessive concentration of carbon dioxide and also not to mention noise pollution by toddlers or even babies! So, i always try to avoid the peak hours, for example 7pm or 9pm movie time; those two session are the worst i tell you! (from my own experience of working in a cinema before.)

SO, T3, despite that i don't really like to watch 3D due to the annoyance of an extra specs on top of my own specs (yea, i do wear one), i decided to watch T3 in 3D. RM15, not a cheap one, luckily its Wednesday aka Movie Day, i was silently wishing that it better be worth for such expensive price else i will surely bang my head against the wall. Truth is, right when the show started, i know it is worth. Man, the metals, the guns, the ships, the bombs, its so real! I remember the scene when Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox (casted by Josh Duhamel,
my favorite in T-series, XD) and his boys glided from air to the land of Chicago, it is such real that i felt like putting my hand up to grab them, its like they are just flying in front of me, like a housefly though. T.T

Overall, i like T3, although the battle scenes of Autobots and Decepticons DID decrease as compared to T1 or T2, which T2 was the highest number of battles, still it is a good one; didn't fail my expectation. Now, people complaining that they rather to have more metal-clash-metal instead of tiny little Homo sapiens running here and there in the show of T3. Well as i said, i know how it feel that you do not really see much robots battles, and heck Optimus Prime
kinda like get cut-off the scene (yea, he just simply came out to save Sam, duh), still it is the war of between Earth and the end-the-Earth Cybertons. So of course, there got to be more scenes regarding the humanity instead, else, it won't be a need to bring up the whole thing of summoning Cybertron to Milky Way and of course not to mention to enslave the humans. So, just like what Optimus said to Sam, "now the war is yours". As you can see from these two points, its pretty much understandable that why more scenes of Homo sapiens instead; and i don't mind to have more scenes of Josh Duhamel though, aka Lt. Colonel Lennox. :P

Another thing would be the most debated key, substitution of Megan Fox with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. To the Megan Fox's fans, they simply see this as a defame to T-series; seriously the way they commented, its pretty much like the whole T-series stands just because of Megan Fox. Okay, she is pretty, so what? Its the Autobots that i am more interested in instead of worrying about two sexy ladies? Now, some said Carly (casted by Rosie HW) is not as pretty as Megan Fox; especially the mention of the thick lips. However, to me, which really not knowing how to comment on the beauty of girls, i kinda like Carly instead of the Fox.
I mean, before this, both in T1 and T2, to be honest, Megan Fox didn't manage to put down a great impact in my memory, except the booty scene at the motorcycle?
However, Carly managed to capture some part of my memory, most clear one would be when she was standing in front of Megatron and deceived him to attack Sentinel Prime, now that's something. Its angelic, i tell you, No doubt to that. Anyhow, Megan or Rosie, not that important to me, most important to me is the Autobots, Decepticons and Josh Duhamel, XD

Okay, what about the plotting? I can only say, breathless. Seriously, you don't have any chance to breathe aka get out of the hall to get a pee or something; but i do realize that many left the hall about 30 minutes to 1 hour of the show. Not sure what's the reason but a good guess would be they felt very dizzy.

Why? Because the robots and bombs and rockets were like flying here and there that you sure felt the dizziness; even i felt it too, but hey, be strong, make sure that you have eaten before you get in that 3D hall, and have a great night sleep, and most importantly you do not feel anything particular before going in; a MUST DO STEP. Okay, the plotting, yes, mix with the actions, the musics, the digital cutting, everything just keep the show going, it just keeping me hooked that you do not feel like doing anything but watch. It gave me goosebumps every here and there to, and some more i was holding my pee after 1 and a half hour of the show, still i sat through the end despite that i was trembling because of cold and the urge to pee. Its worth anyhow, because i didn't miss anything. As for my friend, she didn't manage to bite even once for the tart that i buy, she said, "No time eating!" Believe or not? Up to you. :P

Sadness? Yea, my most favorite Ironhide is dead. R.I.P Ironhide.
Now, some did debate that why Ironhide has to be dead? Well the answer actually is also quite simple. Sentinel is going to betray Autobots, so what's the best scene to initiate the hatred of the gang of Sam and Optimus toward Sentinel? What's the best scene to trigger the revenge spirit of a leader to avenge his subordinate? Nothing will do better other than somebody dies, especially somebody that means something ever since T1. So eventually, there are few to choose among, Ironhide, Rat-Chet, BumbleBee and Jazz;
since Jazz died in T1, that left with Ironhide, Rat-Chet and BumbleBee.
Seriously, are you going to nail BumbleBee out of the action for the rest of T3 scenes? Ironhide dies around 30~40minutes of the movie, that means you still have a 65% of the show to go, certainly nailing BumbleBee won't be a good choice. What bout Rat-Chet?
Err, do you really get any big impact from him back in T1 and T2 other than he sorta like the medic autobot and assit. of Optimus? To be honest, i don't. So, we are down to Ironhide; pretty much the reason he is to be dead. T1, he was a warrior there. T2, have to mention that he was just in the first scene, and Josh Duhamel pet him! So, anymore reason to NOT die him in T3? Okay, some will ask, why not dies some other autobots, why must be Ironhide or why must be the core? Well, core is the core, they are from T1. Furthermore, if i were to nail Dino, the red sporty car right just get the chance in T3 to show up, will you have the feeling?
Pretty much is a no. Or i nail out Sideswipe, one of my likey too,
perhaps there will be a bit of feeling, since Sideswipe proved to be one of those that managed to capture the audience's heart, but won't as strong as Ironhide. So, what to do? R.I.P Ironhide. Have to say, director Micheal Bay made a great choice in this, trust me i don't like Ironhide to die too, but choosing him is the best option.

SO, generally, this movie is a good one, sad that there won't be any other follow up after this, but glad that finally i watched it, and satisfied. :) Rating? 4.5/5!

Before i end this post, let's Duhamel a while~

Classic Music! Video #30!

Yo yo yo, finally! Its the last video! Classic MV 30 marks the end of the month of classic music!!!

Hooray!!!

So as before, let's look back what we have previously:

Classic Music Video #19 - Brandy - Have You Ever

Yep, all the list, we have a range of genre, from pop to soul to ballad, well just too much! Haha!

And today, who we have eh? Have you lived a crazy life yet? Or dance a crazy dance eh? Yep, we are Livin La Vida Loca tonight! Ricky Martin!

Gosh, finally reached the last one, i chose Ricky Martin to be the last one because he is just so hot, gorgeous, amazing, attractive and you won't get tired with his songs, seriously! He is a pop king in Latin music region too!

Originally named Enrique "Ricky" Martin Morales, he became a Puerto Rican singer as one of the member of the latin boy group Menudo, and finally went solo during 1991. Which song he debuted at that year? Its Livin La Vida Loca from the first solo album Ricky Martin! See, that's why its this because its a classic from him!

Well of course to speak of classic of Ricky M., we have a lot to go like Maria, She Bangs, argh, can't get enough of it, XD But, In 2007, the song was ranked at number twenty-eight on the list of 100 Greatest Songs of the 90's by VH1.

that something!

Anyhow, Ricky Martin came out from the closet, and apparently many dislike that. Hell, its doesn't really matter anyway. And i am glad he is a father of twin boys! So, dish that homo-stuffs, will you all?

And, let's dance! This song is just unbeatable, it makes you move, dance, and swing along even you really don't know how to dance, have to say, one piece of classic!

Here we go, Livin La Vida Loca, Ricky Martin! Let's get crazy!

Classic Music! Video #27!

So, its classic music again! Yipee~ 3 more to go, actually i am kinda addicted of updating the list, because i learnt something through updating these 27 videos which makes me to be more "committed" to it, :P

Anyhow, today we are going to go classic again with a classic movie, gunfire anyone? Get me that handgun! We are going to war!

Yep, its Pearl Harbour!

Remember this movie that was directed by Michael Bay at 2001? Yea, i pretty much watched it over and over again. Other than Danny aka Josh Harnett is so hot that he caught my eyes, this movie is just worth watching and watching again! (argh, just make me feel so want to get the original DVD right now, yea, it has always been in my to-buy-list.)

The fire, the gun, the bomb, the airplane, the yell, the cry, the death, the survive, the rush... everything is just so real in this movie, and not to mention that i actually sobbed abit when Danny died after a mission.

So, what's the song that became hot together with this movie? Need ask? Of course its There You'll Be by Faith Hill! Broadcast along with the movie, this song became one of the greatest hits of Faith Hill and by year 2001, this song made into #10 of Billboard Hot 100, and of course nominated several times for Grammy Award.

This song is really nostalgic for me, whenever i heard it, i always flashed back all the memories of Pearl Harbour the movie, Danny, Rafe and Evelyn. Ouch, i just can't get enough.

So here we go, let's fly in the air, Faith Hill, There You'll Be!

Classic Music! Video #26!

Hey hey hey, its classic Claaaaaaaaasic again!

So, we have been having two videos of post 2000 music, both from Alicia Keys and Bon Jovi, two very popular stars at the era of 21st.

Now, let's roll back to the 90s, where boybands pretty much rule the music sector; oh, i just realized that U.S.A military officers really don't go with band like BackStreet Boys, give them heavy metal rock and they will not mouth-F you off your radio. Haha!

So, which boyband today eh? This band is formed at 1993, originally consisted of six members, they are Shane Lynch, Ronan Keating, Richard Rock, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy. Eh, sound familiar? Yep, its Boyzone!

With Ronan Keating and Stephen Gately as the lead voice, the band surely became a hit right when they are starred. Well, one thing to mention though, Richard Rock is out of the group right before they managed to sign the contract. Reference at below:

Well, true or no, its history, and i'm glad that Richard Rock moves on with his life of drug-free. So with all the anticipation, let's indulge in one of the great boybands, Boyzone with their 2008's single, Love You Anyway!

--------------------------------------------------

Classic Music! Video #25!

yo yo yo, its classic claaaaaaasssicccc!

So, yesterday we have a modern R&B, today we go modern rock and roll! and a bit of heavy metal there.

So, i think Bon Jovi, everyone knows them right? A band formed at 1983, they have captured most of the hearts of 80s by then, but to be seriously introduced to the younger audience, that would be when they released their single at 2000, named "Its My Life"!

Well with that extract, we can see that how the song affected the band celebrity status and eventually the song that released at 2000 makes them gained several #1 in the song charts and more.

So, let's rock and roll, Bon Jovi's Its My Life!

Classic Music! Video #24!

Yo yo yo, its classic music again!

Now, for the previous 23 music videos, if you have noticed the date, they didn't go beyond 1999; yep, not even 2000. So does that mean songs over 2000 it not classic? Well i didn't say that, so today, we are going to have songs exceeding the gate of 2000! ; and many more to come^^v

The song that i am going to post today is dated at 2004, released as the single of the second album of Alicia Keys. This song reached number 4 in billboard hot 100, 2 nomination at 2005 Grammy Awards, eventually winning Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

This song is originally sang by Alicia Keys only. But the one that got stuck in my mind is a duet version, and that's with Usher. I like the melody, like it just makes you wanna sit beside a beach, having a drink, and hold your love's hand tightly; and that's all what meant to both of you.

So, let's indulge in their voices, Alicia Keys ft Usher, If I Ain't Got You!

Classic Music! Video #23!

Hey Hey, its classic music again!

So yesterday we flew back to the age of Journey, where rock and roll pretty much rule the music world. And yea, speak of rock and roll, sometimes i do feel that the rock and roll is much better than the modern heavy metal; sometimes its really trashy, no offence bub~

So today, we are going rock and roll also. Also a band, but a band that is formed from Liverpool, United Kingdom. Yes, we have The Beatles! Well, precisely, i do not really have much memories on their songs, only the one that i am going to post IS indeed what i heard most since childhood. I know that is the song at the moment that i saw the music title.

This song is really touching, smoothing, and all the more important, makes me remember my childhood, so i won't really go into the words, just let it be.

The Beatles, Let It Be!

Classic Music! Video #22

Yo yo yo, its classic music video #22!

So yesterday we had rode to Broadway, now today we are going to go rock and roll!

Now this song is recorded by Journey, and is released as a single at 1981 at their album Escape. This song, as described by All Music, showed "an anthem for the young who wanted to feel free and unrestricted", featuring "one of the best opening keyboard riffs in rock." It is again covered for many times, the most popular one would be the one covered by Glee, lead by Cory Monteith (Finn) and Lea Michele (Rachel) in their first episode of Glee.

To my opinion, this song is really great, amusing for a classic. For the first phrase,

Just a small town girl
living in a lonely world
She took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy
born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train going anywhere

This first phrase is enough to throw your emotion into a bit of sadness and despair, that might leave you wondering what's the fate of these two; i'm sure most of us have this feeling before, that we do not know where to go, where to move anymore.

For the chorus, there goes:

Stranger waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the night

Oh, well, this seriously throw me into emo-ing. oh, and there is one part from 2nd phrase:

Working hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Paying anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win, Some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
All the movies never end
It goes on and on and on and on

Oh, man, this part i like the most, everybody will do anything just to get the dice rolls again, just one more time. Doesn't this sound familiar? Yes, we all did that before. When we are at our last resort, we will do whatever we can just to save the situation.

So, Journey really did make a classic out of this, and let's go classic with Don't Stop Believing!

p/s: one more phrase:" Don't Stop Believing, Hold On To The Feeling!"

----------------------------------------------------------

Classic Music! Video #21!

Hello people! Its classic music again!

And today, we are riding towards Broadway!

Well, not exactly boulevard but it is covered by Kristin Chenoweth during a Broadway revival of Promises, Promises. So, well after all it is also a very classic song that you won't mind listen to. Any Glee friends here? If so you will sure know this one that is covered by Mr. Shue and April (yep, its Kristin Chenoweth!) in one of the episodes. It is also covered by Kurt and Finn too. Aha, you know which song is it right?

Yep, A House Is Not A Home/One Less Bell to Answer Medley! By Barbra Streisand!

Now one have to understand that Barbra Streisand was not the original singer of both the songs; instead, A House Is Not A Home is sung by Dionne Warwick while One Less Bell to Answer is recorded by The 5th Dimension. However, Barbra Streisand is the first to record a medley of both of these two songs, so she is the original to the medley, which is frequently be covered at the years later.

This medley is recorded in Barbra Streisand's 1971 album with the name Barbra Joan Streisand. Well, to be truth, this medley stuck on my head when i first heard it from Glee. The words, the lyrics, the rhythm, its just kept ring in my head that i can't get it away, and i am forever hooked with this classic one. So, if you are not really in the mood of spoiling your happy day, don't, because it kinda makes people feel sad though, with the title i'm sure you can guess why.

Anyhow, let's ride back to the classic pop at 1971, a medley by Brabra Joan Streisand, A House Is Not A Home/One Less Bell to Answer!

Classic Music! Video #20!

Yo yo yo, classic classic classic!

Now can you believe it? Its finally reaching the second tier of the song list, now its the two-third already! Hooray! So as before, i will update the whole music video from #1 to #19, including this one we have 20 on the list!

Classic Music Video #19 - Brandy - Have You Ever

So, with all the 19 up, now i introduce you the most classic on the list of 20, it seriously is classic that it traced back to year 1939!

Well, i first heard this song by Shayne Ward, his version is truly amazing when he sang it at X Factor. The last part of his version is just so thrilling that my jaw dropped when i heard it. And from that on, i am hooked with this song.

Then, in Glee, it is again covered by Mr. Shue, at the last episode of season 1, where the McKinleys High lost their regionals. His version is much smoother if compared to Shayne Ward, but nevertheless, its still a good one where his voice with the lyrics reached my heart.

This song, is famous as an original sound track of the movie Wizard of the Oz. In that movie, Judy Garland sang that song, even though only a fist bridge was featured of 1.29 minutes, it still hooked the soul of the patrons. It is an academy winning song. So a serious classic one. A ballad song, it describes the heart of a person when he or she is looking for a hope or something that is over the rainbow, that somewhere out there someone will listen to them, will do good to them, will let them shine, will let them happy.

So, let's fly with the blue birds, we have Judy Garland with her all time best, Over The Rainbow!

Classic Music! Video #19!

Classic Classic Classic! Music Video number 19!

So previously we have four classic songs from classic movies, mostly fairy tales, although there are some other classic fairy tales that i didn't bring up here, still, it kinda depends on my memory to the songs, whether i actually remember or not.

Now, today classic, we going back to pop! Now, i have updated the list with many male singers, so why not a bit of female eh?

I'm sure when Westlife covered a song Have You Ever, many traced back to the original, which is at 1999, sang by Brandy. A R&B singer, she did this song at her second album Never Say Never, and eventually this song climbed to the top of Billboard Hot 100.

There isn't really much to say about this song, but all that i can say is it hooks your heart, your mind and your soul when the lyrics said have you ever love somebody so much it makes you cry.

So, why not let's start getting hooked? Have You Ever by Brandy!

--------------------------------------------------------
